Microgaming, one of the oldest and best known suppliers of online casino software in the industry, has announced that it is starting off the summer season by running a great €175,000 multi-player network tournament, Reels de Janeiro, which will be played on the “Shoot!” tournament slot that was recently launched by the group.
The five- reel and 50 pay line retro football themed “Shoot!” Slot game features players who date back all the way to 1960 and is loosely based on the popular football “Shoot!” magazine. The slot game has been so popular amongst players that it is now available in a tournament version of the game.
In order to celebrate the launch of the “Shoot!” tournament slot and the FIFA World Cup event that is scheduled to take place in just a few weeks, Microgaming will be running a great tournament to get players into the carnival mood.
The tournament kicks off on Thursday, 12th June and continues until Thursday, 31st July 2014 offering a prize pool of a whopping €175,000. Players can enter the tournament, which will see the top five players being awarded a massive sum of €10,000 each, via any of Microgaming’s participating operators.
A spokesperson for Microgaming’s multi-player product, James Ford, said that the countdown to Brazil has already commenced and that Reels de Janeiro is the perfect tournament for their operators’ players. Ford added that they have combined a smashing game with an eye-catching prize pool and that they are confident that this will be a highly popular offering across the network.
