A recent press release showed just how lucky Canadians are when it comes to hitting the jackpot on Microgaming’s Mega Moolah slot game.
According to the release, 2020 may have been a tough year across the globe, but for some Canadian online gamblers, the stars must have aligned.
While the country was in lockdown in April 2020, one player decided to play Mega Moolah at Jackpot City Casino. Within a short while, the player hit one of the biggest jackpots ever seen on the slot game and walked away with an eye-watering $16,496,347.95.
Just one month later, in May 2020, Mega Moolah paid out close to $10 million to another Canadian.
The third 2020 Mega Moolah win was reported just three days after the second, when a player at a Casino Rewards affiliated online casino won $4,480,847.
A fourth player wrapped up the year in September with a $4 million win.
If those numbers make your heart race, look at the 2019 wins by Canadian players.
No less than six residents became instant millionaires, starting with the Zodiac Casino player who opened the year with the spectacular, record-breaking $20,059,287 that is still being talked about today.
Canadians and other online gamblers can play at online casinos such as Captain Cooks, Grand Mondial and other gaming platforms that carry Microgaming titles.
