PokerStars is running a race-themed promotion that gives players the chance to win a share of more than $100,000 in prizes up for grabs each week. The new promotion called “Spin & Go Races” essentially works like a leaderboard where players must strive to finish at the top of the standings to take home the lion’s share of the prize.
How it Works
The new promo adopts an auto-racing theme in which players are provided a full tank of gas on the starting grid. As they complete a circuit of 22 games throughout the week, they should make sure there’s enough fuel left in their tank to earn a spot in the weekly rankings. The player left with the most fuel at the end of the week will be declared the winner.
Winning a game means saving fuel. Not clinching 1st place means you will lose a percentage of your fuel depending on your finishing position. Your journey is officially over once you run out of fuel.
Promo Runs Until Nov. 20
The promotion involves multiple buy-in levels, ranging from $1 to $250, which means both low-stakes and high-stakes players can take part and they don’t necessarily have to directly compete with each other. If you’re into low stakes, you’ll be competing with players on the same level as you. You are allowed to join three races per week.
