Microgaming, in collaboration with partners Stormcraft Studios, released a new fantasy themed video slot game titled ‘Dragon Shard’ that is available exclusively to Microgaming operators.
The new 5 reel, 5 row and 40 pay line video slot is playable on all devices from 5p to £200 per spin and comes with mystery symbols, a Win Booster giving the only high value symbol transformations and Win Both Ways payouts as well as Free Spins with up to 3 mystery reels on each.
‘Dragon Shard Slot’ is set in a fantasy kingdom with symbols on the reels including clubs, diamonds, hearts and spades as well as the Dragon Shard, Fire Dragon, Ice Dragon, the Ice King and Fire Queen.
The Fire Queen and the Ice King are the most lucrative symbols and can appear stacked over two symbol spaces or over 5 spaces, awarding players with 8 times their stake if 5 appear in combination.
The Wild symbol is the Dragon Shard that substitutes for all other symbols with the exception of the Scatter. The Wild symbol can also award up to 20 times a player’s total stake when 5 land in combination.
A Free Spins feature is triggered by getting 3 or more eye scatters in position. Ten free spins are awarded with each spin containing Mystery Reels on reels 2, 3 or 4. The Mystery Reel only contains mystery symbols with 3, 4 or 5 Scatters awarding 1, 2 or 3 Mystery Reels. Players are rewarded with an additional free spin for every Scatter appearing during the feature.
Players can win 800 times their total stake per free spin by managing to fill the Mystery Reels with Wild symbols.
