ACR is running the biggest-ever edition of its popular tournament series, “The High Five” this August. Kicking off on August 6, the festival features over 70 events with a combined guarantee of $14.4 million.
That figure is the largest guaranteed prize pool ever offered by the series and that’s mainly because ACR is boosting the guarantees of 10 daily events for 22 consecutive days!
The High Five Key Details
The High Five features a wide range of buy-ins, starting from $1.10 up to $2,650, covering players of all bankrolls. Each day, there are around 10 events to choose from, split equally between low stakes and higher stakes.
ACR last hosted The High Five in April this year. The series offered $10 million in guaranteed prize pool spread across 200 events. The operator maintained the 4/20 theme, implementing a 10-minute “courtesy break” at 4:20 p.m. ET. The same policy is also being adopted in the August series.
Main Highlights
The main highlights of the latest edition of The High Five series include the $630 buy-in, $1,000,000 GTD Kickoff event on August 6, as well as a couple of Mystery Bounty tournaments with entry fees of $2.50 ($75,000 GTD) and $16.50 ($300,000 GTD). Both tourneys have multiple Day 1 flights running from August 6-27.
The schedule also features a $2,650 buy-in High Stakes Special which comes with a $1,000,000 guarantee and takes place from August 27-28. The series culminates in the $630 buy-in, $1,000,000 GTD Main Event which is scheduled for August 27.
