The crux lies in the subsidiaries’ failure to adhere to the agreed-upon conditions by December 31, 2023. Dara Sakor casino, under the ownership of LongBay Entertainment Co. Ltd., had an operational lease with Lion King Entertainment Co. Ltd., led by Ng Man Sun. This agreement, initially set from May 1, 2021, to April 30, 2036, and valued at approximately HKD 58 million (around US$7.4 million), is now under the microscope.
The need for a more detailed financial analysis of the past three years’ profit and loss statements has prompted a rigorous review by auditors. This review aims to align the new gaming table business rights with financial records, focusing on a comprehensive evaluation of expenses, including gaming taxes, and food and beverage services.

There are concerns regarding certain operating expenses provided by Lion King, which were based on estimations rather than precise allocations. The company is in active discussions for a potential new casino lease and operational agreement with LongBay Entertainment Co. Ltd. Specifically, Century Entertainment is eyeing the management of a VIP room in Long Bay, Dara Sakor, aiming to continue its gaming activities under the operational license provided by LongBay Entertainment.
