Reportedly, the social watchdog is going to begin a national advertising campaign to encourage responsible gambling during the UEFA European Championship national football team tournament. Alongside they are also expending the scope of their existing campaign ‘Bad Betty’ by including football-specific messages and guidelines for UK punters to help them keep their patience and not to place unnecessary bets for their clients. For that they have tied up with ace advertising agency The Corner and their slogan of the year would be ‘When the fun stops, stop’ which will be shown on television and on social media simultaneously.
Talking about their campaign, independent standards commissioner at the Senet Group, Wanda Goldwag said, “Our ‘Bad Betty’ adverts continue to be very successful in educating gamblers to become more aware of the signs behind problem gambling, as well as encouraging a more responsible approach.
“Our expanding membership means that more gamblers and the wider public are exposed to our campaigns and we hope people will follow the tips in our new adverts during the Euros.”
