Playtech, the world’s largest supplier of online gaming and sports betting software, has announced the release of a new progressive jackpot slot game titled Grease that is based on the iconic 1978 movie of the same name.
Grease is a 5 reel and 20 pay line slot that is playable from 20p to £20 a spin on all devices.
The slot game comes with numerous features that include Re-Spins, Sweetheart Wilds, 2 Free Spins features, a Pick me Style game and 2 Progressive jackpots.
Players get to see characters from the film such as Kenickie Murdoch, Sandy Olsson, Danny Zuko and Betty Rizzo and listen to songs from the movie as they spin the reels.
A Wild Heart symbol substitutes for all symbols but the Scatter with 3, 4 or 5 on a pay line giving 6, 12.5 or 50 times player’s stake.
The slot comes with a Rockin’ and a Rollin’ Re-Spins feature as well as a Sweetheart Wild symbols feature that is triggered randomly on any base game spin.
The Jukebox Bonus is triggered by getting the Grease Scatter symbol simultaneously on reels 1, 3 and 5 giving players a choice of 3 Bonus features namely, a Better Shape Up Free Games feature, a Summer Nights Free Games feature and a Rydell High Bonus feature.
A Greased Lightning Jackpot feature is triggered at random in the Base game where players are guaranteed to win 1 of 2 Progressive Jackpots – Danny’s Jackpot or Sandy’s Jackpot. Players are required to open boxes to reveal Danny or Sandy and matching 3 symbols will award them with the corresponding jackpot.
