Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) is thrilled to announce that it has entered into a new strategic partnership agreement with New York City Football Club.
The agreement signed by the parties is part of the Momentum Loyalty Rewards Program offered by Mohegan Sun, MGE’s signature U.S. integrated entertainment resort that is located in Connecticut.
Mohegan Sun and New York City Football Club will offer fans enriched experiences at home games as well as at select events throughout the year.
The partnership will also see Mohegan Sun become the first-ever presenting partner of New York City Football Club’s on-field pen pass areas located on the soccer pitch at Yankee Stadium. This will give fans a pre-game VIP experience to watch New York City Football Club’s first team players warm-up from just a couple of feet away.
Ray Pineault, the President & General Manager at Mohegan Sun, commented on the new partnership by saying that Mohegan Sun is excited to welcome New York City Football Club into their family of Momentum Partners.
Pineault went on to say that offering guests fresh, unique experiences is their goal. He also said that the program that they have put in place with New York City Football Club – one of the United States’ top sports and entertainment brands – delivers on that promise.
The partnership agreement follows MLS Commissioner, Don Garber, recently pledging to support regulated sports betting.
Garber revealed that the league is ‘getting close’ to a major league-wide sponsorship with a respected gaming company.
