A lucky 33-year-old online casino player from Kwa-Zulu Natal, won over a million Rand off a R4000 cash-back bonus at South African-facing Thunderbolt Online Casino earlier this month.
Adriaan Botha won the jackpot playing the Bubble Bubble 2 slot, which he says is his favorite game, on his mobile device. Botha is urging other punters to help him continue his winning streak by staying off this slot game while it is hot as he does not want the game to pay out to other players instead of himself.
Bubble Bubble 2 slot is a sequel to Realtime Gaming’s classic Halloween slot game.
The lucky player revealed that he was in complete shock when he realized that he had won but after realizing that it was 100% true, he did a happy dance. He added that he has been lucky numerous times before but not with such a huge amount.
Adriaan went on to say that for him, Bubble Bubble 2 always pays and is one of his favorite games alongside Dragon Orb, Asgard, Small Fortune and Lucky 6.
Players who win large amounts do not usually publicize their win as it is illegal to participate in online gambling in South Africa with the S.A. National Gambling Board having recently sent out a warning saying that all winnings will be confiscated and winners could face criminal charges.
Thunderbolt Casino’s Alisa Van Der Merwe revealed that players are always given a partial refund if they do not win anything after making a deposit. She added that Adriaan’s massive win was made with R4000 that had just been refunded to him.
