Leading sports betting provider LeoVegas Sport and the DKB Handball Bundesliga have entered into a contract that will see LeoVegas being the latter’s Official Sports Betting Partner for at least two years and includes the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons.
The partnership came about with the participation of HBL partner LAOLA1 and involves a number of activations which include the allocation of advertising space and hospitality to the three handball events, organized by Handball-Bundesliga GmbH.
Frank Bohmann, Chief Executive Officer at HBL, commented that with LeoVegas Sport, they now have a company at their side which is so far associated with the sport, in particular in the Scandinavian market and is now establishing a strong access to the German market with them as a partner.
Tobias Scholz, Head of DACH at LeoVegas revealed that they are very pleased to be a partner of the DKB Handball Bundesliga. He added that this is rightly regarded as the world’s most successful Bundesliga with clubs and players, which have high sympathy values among the fans and reach large spectator ranges.
Scholz went on to say that the DKB Handball Bundesliga also achieves great interaction values in the social media sector. He also said that this is an excellent match for their brand and is a very good prerequisite for the joint implementation of a number of exciting projects.
Head of Marketing & Co-operations at DKB HBL, Victor vom Kolke, also commented that both markets have a great affinity for handballing and both companies will benefit from this cut. He added that they are planning activations with LeoVegas Sport which the fans can look forward to.
