Games Global and Stormcraft Studios have expanded the Immortal Romance franchise with a high-volatility slot featuring persistent card upgrades, an expanding Link&Win bonus and wins of up to 5,000x the stake.
Immortal Romance Gets a New Progression System
Stormcraft Studios has launched Immortal Romance ASSEMBL’EM, a 5×3, 20-payline slot released through Games Global.
The game has a 96% RTP, very high volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x. Its main hook is the ASSEMBL’EM system, which lets players unlock and upgrade five feature cards: Unlocker, Collector, Jackpots, Multiplier and Adder.
Each card can progress through Ruby, Gold and Diamond tiers, with upgrades carrying over between sessions. That gives repeat players a longer-term goal beyond simply triggering the next bonus.

ULTRA Link&Win Drives the Bonus Play
Overlay tokens can appear in the base game and connect to active feature cards. Collecting multiple card types can trigger the Power Combo, allowing several card effects to work together during ULTRA Link&Win.
The bonus starts with three respins, with new coins resetting the counter to three. The grid can expand by up to four extra rows, while four jackpot prizes are available, including a Mega starting at 2,500x stake.
Up to five card features can be active at once, giving the bonus more variety than a standard hold-and-respin round.
Bonus Buy Speeds Things Up
Players can access ULTRA Link&Win directly through a Buy Bonus Feature, with the price depending on active cards and upgrade levels.
An UPSIZER option can also offer extra paid features after a naturally triggered Link&Win round, although it is unavailable when the bonus has been bought.
For players, that means faster access to the main attraction, but also quicker spending in an already very high-volatility slot.
A Busier Take on Immortal Romance
Immortal Romance ASSEMBL’EM keeps the gothic theme and familiar characters while adding a more progression-heavy structure.
The persistent card system is the biggest change, giving regular players a reason to return and build toward stronger feature combinations. The trade-off is a more complex setup and a harsher volatility profile.
For fans of the series who want more than a straightforward sequel, this is a more layered spin on the Immortal Romance formula.
