Plus55, a multinational trade company, is pleased to reveal that it has extended a shirt sponsorship deal with Spanish LaLiga football club Atetico Madrid.
The renewed agreement will run for three season, namely from 2018-2019 to 2020-2021 with Plus500 continuing as the club’s main shirt sponsor and company branding to remain on the front of Atletico’s playing and training jerseys.
The company will also be given an opportunity to gain access to a number of other sponsorship benefits at the team’s new Wanda Metropolitano stadium.
It is understood that this new agreement signed by the parties will bring in revenue of 15 million euros, plus bonuses, per season for Los Rojiblancos.
The Chief Executive Officer of Atleti, Miguel Angel Gil, commented on the extended agreement by saying that they are very pleased to extend the collaboration with Plus500, and they truly believe that this agreement has proven itself and supports their growth and progress. Gil went on to say that they hope to continue their journey with them in their new home.
Asaf Elimelech, the Chief Executive Officer of Plus500, also commented that Aletico Madrid consistently demonstrates its strength, professionalism and passion for success, which they feel reflects Plus 500s qualities.
Elimelech also said that they are extremely excited to continue this partnership between Aletico Madrid and Plus500, which has strengthened their brand recognition worldwide.
The club’s stars Koke, Gabi and Fernando Torres attended the presentation ceremony that was held at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitan.
