International Game Technology is pleased to announce that MGM Resorts International is utilizing IGT’s sports betting platform to run its retail sports betting operations following the State of New Jersey having opened legalized sports betting.
MGM Resorts has selected IGT to provide its end-to-end sports betting solution at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey. IGT’s retail point-of-sale system has enabled Borgata to open for sports betting, allowing in-casino patrons to place in-play and pre-match sports bets over the counter, with effect from Thursday, 14th June 2018.
IGT brings substantial proficiency and capability to providing leading technology to MGM Resorts sports betting. At present IGT powers MGM Resorts’ retail sports betting at 10 prime Las Vegas Strip properties, and mobile sports betting on the playMGM app with ICT PlaySpot technology across Nevada.
