Unibet, part of the Kindred Group, one of the largest online gambling companies in the world, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a two-year partnership in terms of which it will serve as the official online betting partner of French Lique 1 football club Paris Saint-Germain.
The new partnership signed by the parties covers the European market and will see the Unibet brand featured around the club’s Parc des Princes home stadium, as well as being featured heavily via digital channels.
In addition, Unibet and the Paris Saint-Germain football club will work together in order to offer customers a range of exclusive digital content.
The betting partnership agreement is said to be worth €3 million with Unibet succeeding PMU as the Ligue 1 club’s gambling partner category.
Marc Armstrong, the Sponsoring Director at Paris Saint-Germain football club, commented on the new partnership by saying that they are delighted to welcome Unibet to the Paris Saint-Germain family. He added that they both share the same spirit of conquest, a passion for football as well as a strong desire to impose their brand in very competitive markets.
Armstrong went on to say that by joining forces with Paris Saint-Germain, Unibet will gain great visibility both in the stadium and in the virtual community of Paris Saint-Germain.
The General Manager of Kindred France, Mathieu Drida, added that with Paris Saint-Germain, Unibet intends to increase its reputation throughout Europe and offer its players exclusive content, closer to the game.
