Betfred, the World’s largest independent bookmaker is thrilled to announce that it will be an official sponsor of the biggest fight of the year when Deontay Wilder takes on Tyson Fury at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, 22nd February, 2020 following a split decision draw on 1st December 2018.
The Las Vegas showdown will also be available on pay-per-view on BT Sport Box Office for UK audiences.
According to Betfred, the sponsorship will boost its online expansion strategy in the US.
Fred Done, the boss and founder of Betfred, commented on the fight by saying that he is delighted to be a sponsor of the most anticipated fight of the year and if Wilder v Fury II is anything like the first fight, we are in for a superb night.
Tom Brown, the President of the TGB Promotions and Bob Arum, the Chairman of Top Rank, issued a joint statement saying that they are happy to have Betfred as an official sponsor for the highly anticipated Wilder vs. Fury II rematch on 22nd February 2020. They also said that this is a 50-50 fight for the heavyweight championship of the world and they are sure that fans all around the globe will be watching to see all of the drama unfold.
Betfred Sports opened its first US Sportsbook at Grand Falls Casino & Gold Resort in Iowa and recently agreed on deals with Wind Creek Bethlehem (for Pennsylvania sports betting operations) as well as Saratoga Casino (for Colorado sports betting operations).
