La Liga, the governing body for the top two leagues of Spanish soccer, is pleased to reveal that it has extended its exclusive betting partnership with Perform Content.
In terms of the deal, the DAZN Group-owned Perform Content will stay on as the exclusive betting video streaming provider for both La Liga Santander – the top tier, as well as Segunda Division. The agreement is due to last until the 2022/23 season.
The two groups began working together before the start of this season and Perform will gain access to 848 events each year across the Santander and La Liga 1/2/3 divisions as well as end-of-season promotion play-off matches.
The arrangement will also include rights for Perform Content to provide bookmakers and betting customers outside of Spain, Andorra and the MENA region.
The Chief Commercial Officer at Perform Content, Andrew Ashenden, commented that they are delighted by La Liga’s continued endorsement of their innovative, user-first approach to content for betting.
Ashenden went on to say that recent initiatives like custom audio commentaries, provision of deep player statistics and data analytics are prime examples of how they create a more immersive video experience for bettors, and they are excited about what will come next for them from their extended partnership.
