Proving its sovereignty among European sportsbooks, Ladbrokes has now signed up an exclusive deal with Football Association of Ireland to become its only betting partner. This could be a milestone deal for the betting operator since it is already having similar deals with key soccer places and latest addition to their partners will only gain them more reputation and high prestige among sports bettors. Latest deal is for the next two years and it will also include 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and since it is also having similar deals with English FA they can better capitalize this opportunity to entice lots of new bettors to join them and get exclusive sign up bonuses along with other advantages. Like expected, current deal will enable Ladbrokes to use FAI brand to promote their services within Ireland where it is already having a confident existence since last thirty years and it already has a marketing setup with more than 650 staff working there.
Knowingly, new two-year deal with the betting firm is announced just hours before Ireland national soccer team to faceoff Oman at the Aviva which is being taken as the Robbie Keane’s farewell to international football. Talking about the latest sponsorship deal and how it could help them regain the top place in sports betting market, Ladbrokes’ director of Ireland, Jackie Murphy said, “Ladbrokes Ireland has returned to a position of growth and we believe investing in Irish sport will support the upward trajectory of the business. Likewise, John Delaney, chief executive of the FAI, also added, “I am delighted to welcome Ladbrokes as a key commercial partner of the Football Association of Ireland.
