Pragmatic Play’s latest slot game ‘Release the Kraken’ is a five reel, four row and twenty pay line slot that is playable from 20p to ‘£100 per spin on desktop, mobile or tablet devices.
‘Release the Kraten’ is based on a giant squid that lived on the coasts of Norway and Greenland, terrorizing sailors.
Symbols on the reels include low value A, K, Q and J royals as well as a selection of colorful turtles, sharks and fish.
The most lucrative symbol is the Release the Kraken Anchor symbol that rewards players with 2.5, 10 or 25 their stake for landing 3, 4 or 5 in combination. Players can form winning combinations by getting 3 or more matching symbols from left to right on adjacent reels – starting from reel 1.
The slot game also boasts a Wild symbol that substitutes for all symbols with the exception of the Bonus, Free Spins and Chest Bonus symbols that appear on all 5 reels and pays 2.5, 10 or 25 times a player’s stake for 3, 4 or 5 across a pay line.
Random Spin Features can be activated in the Base Game as 3 Tentacles appear randomly. Players choose 1 of the tentacles to play the Kraken Lockin Wilds feature, the Colossal Kraken Wilds feature or the Infectious Kraken Wilds feature.
The Sunken Treasure Bonus feature is played when a bonus symbol appears on reels 1 and 3 with the chest bonus symbol landing on reel 5, while the Roaming Kraken Free Spins feature is activated when a bonus symbol appears on reels 1 and 3 as well as the Free Spins symbol on reel 5.
‘Release the Kragen’ is a medium to high variance slot with an RTP of 96.5%.
