ELA Games will bring its slot design pitch to SBC Summit Malta later this month, arriving with a wider regulated footprint across Europe and a growing list of live titles for local players.
Malta Panel Puts Slot Trends Under The Microscope
ELA Games is set to appear at SBC Summit Malta on April 29, with Senior Business Development Manager Petr Vonarshenko joining a panel focused on where slot content goes next.
The session, Casino Product Innovation & Content: The Future of Slots, sits within the event’s Product Visionaries track and will dig into how slot games are being reshaped for modern audiences.
That means a conversation around features built to make slots feel less like solo button-tapping and more like connected entertainment. Topics on the table include co-op jackpots, friend-based challenges, player-driven mechanics and the way data is being used to build tighter, more targeted player communities.
ELA’s appearance fits neatly with the studio’s own direction. The company has leaned into narrative-led development, and the panel is expected to explore how cinematic storytelling, branded tie-ins and episodic releases are changing the feel of slot design.
Vonarshenko will be joined by Janick Bonnici, Principal Gaming Content Manager at Betsson Group, and Steve Cutler, CEO and co-founder of KALAMBA. The panel will be moderated by Arjan Korstjens, Principal at the Casino Marketing Academy, and is scheduled for 15:00 to 15:45 CEST at the InterContinental Hotel in Malta.
New Certifications Open More Doors Across Europe
Away from the conference floor, ELA Games has also widened the reach of its content after securing certification for nine titles in Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Romania and Malta.
The approved batch includes Buffalo Force, Piñatas Festival, Riches Express, Juicy Crystal and Noble Crown, along with Winpot releases such as Zeus Winpot and Rabbit Winpot Deluxe.
ELA said title availability will still depend on each operator and local market rules, but the approvals give the studio a much larger runway across regulated jurisdictions.
In Sweden, selected games are set to appear on Betinia, Swiper, CampoBet and QuickCasino. In Denmark, titles will roll out across Betinia, CampoBet, Swiper and Betoro. Greece will receive content through ElaBet, while Romanian distribution will include Don.ro, TopBet and Swiper.
What It Means for Players
For the average online casino player, this is the part that matters. More certifications usually mean more chances to see the same studio’s games on licensed local sites instead of watching releases stay locked in markets you cannot access.
It also suggests ELA is trying to do two things at once: talk up the future of slots in Malta while making sure its own games are actually landing in front of more players across Europe. That is a cleaner story than industry buzz alone.
Denmark remains one of the company’s active growth markets, with recent deals expanding its presence through Tivoli Casino, RoyalCasino, Casino House and Stake.dk. In Greece, ELA’s push picked up after the studio received approval from the Hellenic Gaming Commission in December.
Taken together, the summit appearance and latest certifications paint a pretty simple picture. ELA Games wants to be part of the conversation about where slots are heading, while also making sure its titles are available where regulated demand is already live.
