Jeju Dream Tower reported its highest monthly casino revenue in October, with stronger table play pushing the South Korean property past its previous record despite visitor numbers remaining almost unchanged from September.
Operator Lotte Tour Development disclosed the results on November 2. Casino net revenue reached KRW62.5 billion, up 24.1% from October last year and 115.4% from September.
The result comfortably exceeded the previous monthly high of approximately KRW52.9 billion, recorded in September 2025. However, the size of October’s rebound needs some context. More money reached the tables, and the casino retained a larger share of it.
Visitor Numbers Held Steady, but More Money Reached the Tables
The casino recorded 66,254 visits in October, compared with 66,393 in September. That small decline makes clear that a sudden increase in foot traffic was not behind the revenue jump.
Instead, table drop rose 37.7% from September to approximately KRW327.4 billion. Drop measures money exchanged for chips at the tables. It should not be confused with total wagers, because the same chips can be bet repeatedly, or with the amount players ultimately lose.
The reported table hold rate also increased, from 10.8% in September to 18.4% in October. This measures table revenue as a share of drop. Together, higher drop and higher hold explain why revenue grew much faster than visitor numbers.
Table Games Carried the Record Month
Table games generated approximately KRW60.4 billion in October revenue, an increase of 134.6% from September. Gaming machines contributed approximately KRW2.2 billion, down 34.3% over the same period.
The contrast matters. October’s record came overwhelmingly from the tables, while the machine business moved in the opposite direction. The headline increase therefore does not describe uniform growth across the casino floor.
The Longer View Still Shows Growth
Across the first ten months of 2026, casino net revenue reached approximately KRW455.6 billion, up 18.5% from a year earlier. Table drop increased 12.3% to approximately KRW2.29 trillion.
Those cumulative figures show growth beyond October’s recovery. They also illustrate why casino results need more than a visitor count. The amount customers bring to the tables and the share retained by the operator can produce very different revenue outcomes, even when attendance barely changes.
