Betway, a leading online betting and gaming operator, has announced that it has entered into a two-year sponsorship deal with German eSports team Berlin International Gaming (BIG).
In terms of the agreement signed by the parties, Betway will serve as the main sponsor of eSports teams that will give the operator the rights to put branding on the front and sleeve of the BIG team jerseys. The online gambling operator will also be given the opportunity to use BIG players in order to create branded content, giveaways and access to social media.
Included in BIG’s CS:GO teams are Owen “smooya” Butterfield who is currently the world’s highest-rated British CS:GO, Turkey’s Ismail Can “XANTARES” Dortkardes and Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz.
Anthony Werkman, the Chief Executive Officer at Betway, commented that this partnership strengthens what is an already formidable eSports offering here at Betway and is a statement of their intent for 2019. He added that they are looking forward to working closely with BIG to bring the most entertaining content in the business to the eSports community who are some of the most loyal and passionate fans in sport today.

He added that their fans can look forward to many exciting and entertaining projects together with their professional athletes.
BIG joins Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), Invictus Gaming and Made in Brazil (MiBR) as part of the Betway eSponsorship portfolio.
