Inspired Gaming is pleased to reveal that it has entered into a new partnership with OPAP that will see it enter the virtual sports market in Greece.
In terms of the agreement Inspired will provide virtual sports online and across the OPAP retail network in the European country.
Included in the games offered by Inspired Gaming is the new “Rush Football 2” product as well as “Rush Horses” and “Rush Greyhounds”, with several more to be added in the near future.
Inspired’s virtual games are scheduled to go live with OPAP towards the beginning of next year.
Damian Cope, Chief Executive at OPAP Group, commented on the new partnership by saying that Inspired’s virtual sports is a proven product with players in a number of other European jurisdictions and he is quite confident that their own customers in Greece will also enjoy playing these entertaining games.
Cope went on to say that this will be one of the first new products that they will launch in line with their long-term 2020 Vision and that they expect to make a further announcement with regard to additional product launches in the coming month.
According to Luke Alvares, Chief Executive of Inspired, the announcement of this deal is a significant one for Inspired and OPAP and that together they will bring best-in-class virtual sports to the Greek market. He added that he is confident that this represents the beginning of a fruitful business relationship. He also said that Inspired’s virtual sports have driven material incremental income in several international markets, and they expect the same in Greece.
