The Las Vegas Lights Football Club is pleased to announce that it has partnered with sportsbook operator William Hill in terms of which the operator will be the football club’s exclusive sportsbook partner.
The new agreement will see Las Vegas Lights fans that sign up for a new William Hill account with a deposit of $100 using the promo code ‘LIGHTS’ receiving a free $5 (€4.30) bet. This is a unique offering that no other sportsbook operator has implemented. Fans who open a William Hill Mobile Sports account with the ‘LIGHTS’ promotional code will also receive a $5 (€4.30) free sports bet for each home victory in 2018.
Betting options will include a pre-match menu and continuous live in-play odds during every game.
The new partnership demonstrates the increasing acknowledgment of betting in US sport following the Supreme Court’s overturning of a federal ban on sports betting across the United States last month. Regulated sports betting was, however, already available in Delaware, Oregon, Nevada and Montana.
Joe Asher, William Hill US Chief Executive Officer, commented on the new partnership by saying that Las Vegas is truly a sports destination, and the Lights Football Club have been a great addition to the city.

On Thursday, 14th June, William Hill claimed that it had been “inundated” with approaches from leading US sports teams in connection with sponsorship deals following the changes to sports betting laws in the United States.
